Rahul Gupta, Senior Advisor
|
Rahul Gupta is a Senior Advisor to the Project on National Security Reform. He is also a Partner in PRTM’s Government Practice. Rahul advises government and commercial clients on strategy, policy, governance, organizational effectiveness, budgets, performance measures, program and portfolio management, and best practices implementation related to national security, intelligence, cyber security, and critical infrastructure protection. His commercial and government clients include telecommunications providers, major homeland security companies, the Departments of National Intelligence and Homeland Security, the National Geospatial Agency, and the National Reconnaissance Office. Prior to joining PRTM, Rahul was an Assistant Director and Senior Legislative Advisor at the U.S. Government Accountability Office responsible for interaction with House and Senate Committees and oversight of Homeland Security, Intelligence, Internal Relations, and Judiciary issues. He was the Chief of Program Analysis at the Director of Central Intelligence, Community Management Staff. Rahul has also served with the House Appropriations Committee, the Independent Commission on the National Imagery and Mapping Agency, and the House and Senate Joint Intelligence Committee to review the events of 9/11. During his tenure in the federal government, Rahul has advised policy makers at the highest levels of the government and affected legislation, policy, technology, programmatic and budgets of national security, homeland security, and intelligence programs. He is the recipient of several DCI and GAO awards—including a GAO Meritorious Service citation. He has also received official recognition for outstanding contributions and performance from several members of Congress, the NIMA Commission, and the 9/11 Intelligence Inquiry.
